Judges Name Finalists For 2013 Startups Awards

The shortlist for the tenth annual Startups Awards has been announced.
Twenty-nine companies from across the country have been named as finalists for the Startups Awards and are hoping to win one or more of the thirteen trophies up for grabs, including the ultimate accolade of being named the overall Startups Business of the Year.
Sponsored by Simply Business and organised by, the Awards recognise the success of Britain’s newest businesses which have been trading for less than three years.
This year’s judges include Colin Gillespie, co-founder and CSO at All Response Media; James Ashton, head of business at the London Evening Standard; Fiona Wood, founder of Naturally Cool Kids; Robert Craven, managing director at The Directors Centre; Neil Morris, founder and managing director of Signalyard; Natasha Frangos, partner at haysmacintyre; Howard Graham, CEO of The Made Simple Group and Julien Callede, co-founder of and winner of Young Startup of the Year Award 2012.
Jason Stockwood, CEO of headline sponsor Simply Business will also sit on the panel with representatives from, founder David Lester and editorial director, Ian Wallis.
Highlighting the diversity of start-up businesses across the UK, the finalists for this year’s hail from a range of sectors and include yoghurt innovators The Collective, one of the UK’s largest full service mobile agencies Apptivation, online recruitment service Hiring Hub and unique skincare providers, Merumaya.
