5 Things Your Customers Need on Your Website

Are you even running a business if you don’t have a website these days?

Your business website is a window into all that you have to offer your customers and clients. Customers cannot take their time and browse all of the products you offer; it is like a virtual shop window.

Your customers and clients also get a feel for your tone of voice, how authentic you are, and the solutions you can provide them.

A small website that can be perfect for almost all businesses. Of course, even to the smallest website needs to be updated with SEO.

You, of course, want to maximize your visibility.

One of the critical things is that if you aren’t sure that you can build a website yourself, or if you’d rather have a professional do it, find a web design company that matches your needs.

USP

One of the most important things that customers should get from your website is what makes you unique. What sets you apart from the plethora of other companies that probably provide the same service or same products?

This is when making yourself a feature on the website, and the face of your company can pay dividends. Have a concise bio that mentions all of your expertise and links to all your social media. After all, you are the unique part of your business.

Services or products

Upon visitation to your website, people should understand what you do or what you sell within seconds. If your home page is filled with reasons you are great, but you can’t see a single service or product, people have no reason to stay on the page.

There is a delicate balance between giving information about how much you offer in terms of products and services. Still, really for this one, you need to set the competition aside and deliver information to your potential customers and clients.

Contact information

Use your contact page as a window to access. You should have every possible means of contact available on this page. It should include your business phone number, mobile number where applicable, perhaps a chatbot, a contact form, and a direct email address.

It is also a good idea to make sure that you are not vague about your location. Some people prefer to see a published address to build some trust in the business.

Of course, this does become more tricky when you run your business from home. Instead of you can provide a rough location or city.

SSL

You should be seen to be protecting your customer’s and clients’ private information. An SSL encryption is a system that will allow everything exchanged between you and a customer to be completely confidential.

This is even more important if you have an e-commerce website or a website that takes any kind of credit card information or other sensitive data.

Personalization

Personalization on the website, if you have made sure that you have got plenty of tracking, you’ll be able to tell if it’s a person’s first visit or third visit. This means that you can offer them a selection of their favorite products at a discount price.

Your website should be a point of information, giving customers or clients everything they need to contact you or purchase the services or products they require.

Consider your website as somewhere that delivers value.
